10/03/2009 - We figured out a way to manage the concrete project...in small sections. It took
about 6.5 80# bags to fill each 3.5' x 3.5' section. Forrest feed the concrete mixer and I smoothed
the concrete.
10/04/2009 - I did another section on Sunday in addition to putting in another pole.
10/10/2009 - I took off work Thur and Fri to get this much done, in addition to
making this gate.
10/10/2009 - Sondra and Shavora "signed" the concrete.
10/10/2009 - I also built these steps from some free blocks I had laying around.
10/10/2009 - I took Saturday off to do some flying, and take this picture.
10/11/2009 - Forrest helped me on Sunday get another row done and build another gate.
10/17/2009 - Forrest helped me on Saturday get one more row done.
11/03/2009 - I took off work today to work on the dog runs.
11/03/2009 - I made record time. 22 1/2 80# bags of concrete in about 3 1/2 hours.
11/22/2009 - Progress halted for a few weekends while we were busy with
puppy stuff. This weekend saw one dog run completed except for securing one fence section.
11/22/2009 - The recent winter rains have made this side of the building a mudpit. I needed
to get a walkway built so we could get to the dog runs without sliding in the mud.
11/22/2009 - I also put straw on top of the bare mud to help decrease the amount Shavora brings
in with her when she is out chasing the goats through the fence.
01/16/2010 - This was Draba and Kesali's first introduction to one of the dog runs.
To start out, we put them both in the same one.
01/16/2010 - Shortly after this picture, I put a dog house in here. They were both cautious about
going in. They instead layed on the blankets outside the dog house. The puppy pads were put in here
to encourage them to potty at the bottom (downhill) side of the run, which they did.
01/16/2010 - They had been playing outside before putting them in here, so they were still
a little damp from the rain. Kesali is drying herself off.
